   Re-build a strong and dedicated HRL staff, provide stability and guidance forthe undergraduate residential leader staff, execute an effective room selection process in theSpring 2025 semester, and ultimately set up a permanent Executive Director for success inensuring HRL leads the Student Affairs Division in student satisfaction and plays a critical role instudent success metrics for our residential students.Purpose:The Interim Executive Director for Housing & Residence Life provides strategic and visionaryleadership, direction, and oversight for all aspects of the residential student housing program.The Interim Executive Director ensures a high level of service exists in the residentialcommunities that house over 3,100 students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:direct and indirect supervision of designated professional, classified, part-time, and studentstaff; supervision of living-learning communities; implementation of academic and co-curricularinitiatives within the residential environment; develops and implements crisis response andmanagement strategies as well as customer service and other programming initiatives; providesoversight for housing operations, including hall preparation, capital planning projects,maintenance/repair needs, and hall replacement/preventive maintenance projects; participatesin the 24-hour on call schedule for student emergencies, and provides follow-up appropriatelywith any necessary interventions.
