ABOUT JEROME HERRADURA

Jerome brings nearly 20 years of experience in international development, with deep specialization in partnership building and recently in advancing work in fragile and conflict‑affected situations (FCAS) and small island developing states (SIDS). Within ADB’s FCAS and SIDS team, he leads the FCAS and SIDS peer learning network- an informal platform that convenes staff across the bank to exchange insights on vulnerability, fragility, resilience, and subnational pockets of poverty. He plays a central role in strengthening ADB’s institutional engagement on FCAS and SIDS, spearheading partnerships with multilateral development banks and other organizations to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing. Jerome also oversees the preparation of the 2025 FCAS and SIDS Approach Annual Report. His work extends to supporting research and analytical efforts on private sector development in SIDS, helping inform strategies to expand economic resilience. Jerome further drives cross‑divisional collaboration between the FCAS and SIDS Unit (FSU) and the NGO and Civil Society Center (NGOC) within the Fragility and Engagement Division, reinforcing synergies across initiatives. As CCFE’s focal point, he also contributes to the ADB Annual Report 2025 and the ADB Skills Inventory exercise. He holds a master’s degree in Finance from De La Salle University and a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific.Jerome is Principal Operations Coordination Officer of the FCAS and SIDS team in the Fragility and Engagement Division within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department, ADB.
