ABOUT JERMAINE LOPEZ-WILLIAMS
I lead communications that create clarity, alignment, and action.I bring 12+ years of experience across nonprofit, government, and social impact organizations, leading internal communications, digital strategy, and brand messaging at scale. My work connects people to purpose and helps organizations move through change with focus and trust.I currently lead internal communications at Brilliant Corners, where I serve as the organization’s first Internal Communications Specialist. I build systems from the ground up, including messaging playbooks, theme-based Simpplr hubs, and organization-wide campaigns that support culture, compliance, and operational priorities. I partner closely with People Operations and senior leadership to ensure communication supports both strategy and day-to-day execution.Previously, I served as Director of Digital Strategy for New York City government, where I led citywide campaigns, oversaw digital platforms, and guided executive messaging for large, complex initiatives serving thousands of New Yorkers.I focus on clear messaging, strong systems, and communications that earn attention and drive behavior.Outside of my full-time work, I founded Project Uninterrupted, a leadership and performance framework centered on discipline, growth, and consistency. I also consult through Peak View Media, supporting mission-driven organizations with content strategy, engagement planning, and brand growth.Tools I use regularly include Simpplr, Asana, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Mailchimp, SendGrid, Meltwater, Hootsuite, Later, and Trello.
