ABOUT JERI TACKETT

Seasoned HR executive with progressive experience in all aspects of human resource management. Specialties include coaching and organizational development, talent development and performance management, employee relations management, benefits design and administration, recruitment and retention, implementation of HRIS/ATS systems, design and implementation of corporate wellness initiatives, compliance and effective employee communications. Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP. Member of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and member of the Bluegrass Society for Human Resource Management (BGSHRM), including serving on the Board of Directors in various roles. Roles on the BGSHRM Board of Directors included Best Places to Work Director (2008), President-Elect (2009), President (2010) and Past President (2011). Have also had oversight of corporate marketing, with an emphasis on employee communications and engagement. Prior to joining Comfort Systems USA, Vice President of HR & Marketing at Amteck, a leading national electrical contractor; Vice President of HR at Viamedia, a national advertising rep firm; HR Director for Gray, Inc, a national construction management firm; HR Business Partner supporting the Corporate and Consumer Products Divisions with Lexmark International; and Director of Operations & HR at a local benefits consulting firm.
