   Over the past 7+ years I have supported the New York and New Jersey tax practice with 5 years in the Manager role. I have had a highly visible role working directly with tax functional leads and the tax market leads. I currently support the Tri State Market and over the past year, my role has expanded as I now cover the full Northeast region for several tax specialty lines. During my 7+ years I have been responsible for rolling out several initiatives including, the integration of the service center and the transition onto the scheduling software program, Retain. With my years of experience, I am highly skilled in resolving scheduling conflicts, understanding the resource management needs for a growing tax practice and improving utilization across teams-Resolve scheduling conflicts by communicating with managers and providing them with various staffing solutions to meet deadlines and client requirements -Create and interpret multiple staff reports to provide leaders with the details of staff utilization, availability, and upcoming issues-Maintain accurate staff schedules so that staffing decisions are based on up-to-date data -Evaluate project needs and assign staff based on budgets and staff expertise to improve client service-Communicate performance issues and charge hour discrepancies to leadership and recommend solutions to improve staff utilization-Coordinate with HR and recruiting on various topics including: preparing new hires and staff transfers-Arrange and conduct weekly scheduling meetings with leadership to discuss and resolve both short term and long term schedule conflicts
