About Jerene Delosse

I earned my BSN in August 2009, from the University of Arizona\'s College of Nursing Accelerated Program. Upon graduation, I obtained a position at University Medical Center in Tucson (now Banner University Medical Center) on the Orthopedic/Orthopedic Trauma unit. I worked there for several years and then moved to the hospital\'s Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), where I provided acute care for adult and geriatric critically ill medical patients. While there, I worked with a multidisciplinary staff that was highly collaborative and supportive, working together to achieve the best patient outcomes possible. I then moved on to a brief stint at the University of Arizona\'s nationally renowned Cancer Center, where I worked in the Dermatology clinic, primarily assisting in treating individuals with skin cancers and providing education on skin cancer prevention. I am currently the Managing Nurse Case Strategist at Elite Medical Experts where I get to use my medical knowledge and expertise in conjunction with my love for writing and communication that I gained from my BA in Journalism that I earned in 1998, also from the University of Arizona. In my current role, I interact directly with attorneys to distill the granular details of their cases in order to provide complex strategic and tactical advice so that the exact expert is recommended and hand-selected for their case.
