During more than 20 years as a development executive and producer for BBC Worldwide, NBC Studios, Syfy Channel, Shout! Factory and Warner Bros. Digital, I’ve collaborated with top industry talents to help create, develop, and produce innovative and successful series formats for TV, digital, and streaming platforms. Throughout my career, I’ve consistently demonstrated an ability to think outside the box and predict market trends, identifying new opportunities which lead to increased revenue. I’m passionate about taking on complex production challenges and breaking new ground, creatively applying the latest technologies while making imaginative shows that inspire and entertain. Here are a few of my career highlights – As a young executive, I was a key member of the US-based development and production teams responsible for adapting groundbreaking BBC formats including The Office, Doctor Who, and Dancing With the Stars. I was the first person hired to lead highly successful development departments for BBC Worldwide Productions, Smart Dog Media, Shout! Factory, and Warner Bros. Digital. I co-created Robot Combat League, the first-ever giant fighting robots competition series for Syfy Channel, a challenging development process which took more than two years from pitch to production. To date, I remain one of only a handful of producers in the world who has developed and produced a robot fighting series from the ground up.
