ABOUT JEREMY TURNER
Chartered Systems Engineer and AI Technology Leader with over 25 years’ experience delivering secure, scalable systems across defence and national infrastructure. I currently lead AI technical strategy and engineering for defence and mission systems programmes, including Future Air Combat initiatives operating across multiple security domains.My focus is on designing and governing AI capabilities that can be safely operationalised in high-side environments, embedding assurance, auditability and trust into engineering lifecycles. I specialise in moving organisations from isolated AI experimentation to secure, multi-tenant AI platforms that support reuse across programmes and trusted partners.I have a strong interest in LLM and RAG-based systems, and I work on pragmatic, responsible adoption of these techniques in constrained and regulated environments, aligned with standards such as ISO 42001.
