ABOUT JEREMY SLATER

Jeremy D. Slater (MBA, PLA, LEED AP BD+C) is the Vice President - Real Estate & Partnerships. His work includes The Discovery Park District (DPD), which will be a dynamic, lively and prosperous place – a vibrant, walk-able mixed-use district that will be a gateway to Purdue University and the City of West Lafayette. A billion dollar development, spanning 30 years, will become the university’s innovation center on the western edge of campus, taking innovation to commercialization. Jeremy is a Boilermaker through and through, having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Purdue in 2008, and an executive MBA from Purdue Krannert School of Management in 2018. Jeremy began working at the Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) in 2015 as a project manager of architecture/engineering, focusing on development opportunities that benefit PRF and its mission. Notable projects include the Purdue Technology Center Aerospace, which houses Rolls-Royce, and the planning for the Discovery Park District. In 2017 Jeremy transitioned to the DPD team as the associate director focusing on moving the development forward as an owner’s representative. Before his work at PRF, Jeremy spent nearly 10 years as lead designer/project engineer focusing on civil engineering and site development for the Schneider Corporation and American Structurepoint.My Personal Mission Statement:We live in a created world and I feel that God’s fingerprints are all around us. From the colors of fall to the renewal of spring we can see that the Master designer, architect, and engineer created this world. I want to be a part of that fingerprint that makes the world a better place, not only at the workplace but in living a balanced life as a husband and father.
