About Jeremy Preston

Jeremy Preston\'s journey with Dow began in and over the years, he has carved out a diverse and broad career across information technology. Today, he serves as the Senior Global IT Director for Business Application Services (BAS) and Business IT for PM & C (Performance Materials & Coatings), a role that provides leadership to drive process and technology strategy along with impactful business outcomes. This position reports to Deb Bauler, the Chief Information and Digital Officer for Dow. Jeremy\'s career is a testament to his expertise and leadership in information technology. With a strong background in program management and emerging technologies, he has consistently delivered innovative solutions that drive business value and support strategic objectives. Most recently, Jeremy led the Scale & Fulfill teams within the BAS organization, providing services across the Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D functions. One of the defining moments in Jeremy\'s career came in early 2007 when he relocated to Shanghai, China. This move was instrumental in shaping and developing the IT Center leadership and delivery capabilities. Throughout his 26 year career with Dow, Jeremy has held various roles within and outside of Information Systems. He served as Program Director for the Reliable Supplier Theme, where he was responsible for ensuring program shaping, design, and execution of aligned capabilities aimed at delivering reliability and resiliency to customers. He also led the Digital B2B Marketplaces program, expanding Dow’s digital commerce presence on Dow.com and engaging in global and local digital marketplaces for all Dow businesses. Additionally, Jeremy was the Director of HR and Legal IT, responsible for the direction of all HR and Legal solutions, and Program Director for the HR Next Gen Program, accountable for delivering business process redesign, technologies, and organization improvements to enhance the employee experience across HR disciplines. Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting information systems and an MBA from Central Michigan University and is a member of the Dow Credit Union Board of Directors.
