The breadth of matters handled encompasses air carrier and private aviation disasters; defense contractors; aerospace products manufacturers and MRO liability; airline and airport liability; and commercial space liability. He has a particular proficiency with contentious hull claims from a first-party hull and subrogation perspective as well as in the context of third-party liability. Hager’s brief also includes contractual risk transfer strategy; emergency response and related risk management issues, and advisory guidance to clients undergoing lead changes and M&A activities. Hager also supports the aviation broking team on policy wording reviews and developing claims handling protocols where needed.Hager is regularly involved in professional education programs and aviation insurance industry seminars.
