Altra co-founder, mentor, coach, and travel addict. I strive to unleash courage. I am passionate about doing things that push my limits and seeking to make life a better adventure for me and those I interact with. “Modern work demands knowledge transfer: the ability to apply knowledge to new situations and different domains.” David Epstein in his book RangeI have spent my career taking the knowledge available to me and connecting the dots. I am an expert at putting processes in place to automate specific tasks, make businesses run smoother, and facilitate better customer relationships and communication. I figure out how to solve problems and make companies more profitable because of it.As a husband and father, I have traveled the country with my family. Each of my four children has been to all 50 US states and 3 Canadian provinces. We have enjoyed these adventures. We have learned diversity and an appreciation for the country and the world that we live in.Professionally, I am a proven leader. I have been on both sides of acquisitions as I co-founded Altra and went through being acquired. Then, in 2022, I lead the acquisition for StairSlide when they acquired b4 Adventure, then rebranding to Bolder Play. I drove marketing and day to day operations and worked with our sales and operations teams to combine brands and set it up for growth into a new phase. I am a marketing automation expert. I am excellent at leveraging customer data to market better using email, SMS, and other direct marketing strategies. I have been doing this for over a decade and have even helped build tools for better marketing automation strategy.In 2009, I helped create one of the fastest-growing athletic footwear brands in the world. With the help of my two partners, I worked to create and grow the Altra brand from a concept to a global brand and a top 10 running shoe brand in the United States. Altra has now become a household name in running footwear. Altra has been touted by many as the only real innovation in running shoes since the Nike Air.After Altra, I have spent my time consulting brands, working in eCommerce, and helping grow SAAS startups. Having been through the effort to build a business from the ground up I know what it takes to think differently and be different. I know what kind of work is required to make things happen. I now work with helping small businesses and entrepreneurs bring their passion to reality.
