ABOUT JEREMY GRUSHCOW

I have over twenty years\' experience in business development, strategy, operating and transactional roles for genomics and biotech companies. Most recently, I\'ve co-founded Juniper, which I have grown from ideation through successful Pre-Seed and Seed financings, IP generation and product-market fit in the fertility/IVF market. I\'ve also worked in population genomics and in AI and traditional drug discovery and was part of the S19 cohort at YC. Before my operating roles, I practiced law for a decade, working on transactions from tech transfer to VC to public markets, starting as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago and ending as a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright in Toronto. Through that time, I wrote the Cross-Border Biotech Blog, and was active in the innovation community as one of the founding members of the Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization and a co-creator of the mentorship program at Life Sciences Ontario. I have a B.Sc.(Human Biology) from the University of Toronto, a Ph.D.(Molecular Genetics & Cell Biology) from the University of Chicago, and a J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where I\'m proud to have been awarded the John M. Olin Prize, given to the outstanding student in Law and Economics.
