This breakthrough technology was acquired by a major international eyecare company.In 2019, I founded and financed Elevare Corporation (formerly OZFund, Inc.), a federally qualified Opportunity Zone Fund (QOF) focused on creating mixed-income, mixed-use communities that revitalize neighborhoods and provide high-quality, affordable housing for working families. Backed by a major investment bank and high-net-worth investors, Elevare has become a regional model for community-driven development:Lancaster, PA: 52 apartments and a grocery store opening Spring 2026York, PA: Redevelopment of a donated historic church campus into 43 apartments and sq. ft. of community service spaceCarlisle, PA: 96 apartments with an on-site daycare centerAs Chairman of Ocean Thermal Energy Corporation (OTE Corp) since 2010, I lead a pioneering energy company designing Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) systems that generate 24/7 baseload clean power and desalinated water.
