What most excites me about being a data scientist is when I uncover a clear and unexpected signal emerging from noisy data; I get a thrill when sharing the findings with the business and seeing the “a-ha” moment when they realize the improvements that they can make.I have over 27 years experience in software development and deployment of digital technology in the environmental and upstream oil and gas sectors spanning six continents. I went back to school and took a Masters in Analytics and have been a data science practitioner for the last five years.
