Bookkeeping & Ledger Management • Enter daily transactions in QuickBooks • Categorise entries accurately (revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities) • Maintain accurate general ledger; post journal entries (accruals, depreciation, adjustments) • Review trial balances and ensure correct classification Accounts Payable (AP) • Record supplier invoices with correct coding • Schedule/process payments • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies Accounts Receivable (AR) • Issue customers\' contracts and invoices and record payments • Send reminders and follow up on overdue accounts • Reconcile customer accounts Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation • Match bank feed transactions with accounting records • Investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate records VAT & Tax Compliance • Prepare/submit VAT returns • Maintain records for tax filings • Support accountants with tax compliance Financial Reporting • Produce management accounts and financial reports Year-End & Audit Support • Assist accountants in year-end close • Provide financial records for audits/tax filings • Ensure accounts are reconciled and accurate for handover Accounting Tools & Automation • Manage and optimise QuickBooks • Automate financial processes (e.g, OCR for invoice scanning) • Integrate accounting tools (payroll, procurement, banking) Payroll & Benefits Administration • Process overtime, bonuses, statutory leave • Track consultancy work • Handle new hires and leavers (payroll, pension, healthcare) • Run monthly payroll and submit pension contributions • Prepare payroll journals and integrate with QuickBooks • Administer benefits and submit P11Ds • Generate P60s, P45s, and P11Ds • Maintain employee records and support with queries • Use payroll software (Hi Bob) Acquisition and Due Diligence • Support the successful investment process that Fibrofind when through in 2024/2025, with a focus on the financial due diligence.
