About Jeremy Johnston
I’m an audio engineer based in upstate New York with 19 years of experience in audio production.I specialize in delivering high-quality sound for podcasts, live music events, voiceovers and music recording sessions.Since 2022, I have been mixing Freakonomics Radio and The Economics of Everyday Things podcasts.I’ve engineered recording sessions for SiriusXM, Universal Music Group, Epic Records, FOX, NBC, CBS, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Microsoft, Ted Talks, Audible, Stitcher and many other global companies.Prior to that I was a freelance live sound engineer, mixing front of house for concerts at numerous venues in New York and for headlining tours across the US, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, and New Zealand. I started out working in a music recording studio in 2006 and spent 12 years recording and mixing albums for regional and national acts.
