Provide individual and group counseling to clients with substance use disorders using evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and relapse prevention strategies. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care and long-term recovery support. Facilitate psychoeducational groups focusing on addiction education, coping skills, and life skills development. Support clients in crisis situations, including overdose prevention, relapse response, and referrals to detox or inpatient treatment as needed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, agency policies, and state licensing standards. Educate clients and families about the nature of addiction, recovery resources, and available community support services.
