ABOUT JEREMY YONG
Corporate Finance professional with 15 years of working experience in the Energy industry, having also solid experience in Operations and Project execution. I recently joined the Fortescue Future Industries family, and am responsible for the strategy and economic analysis of Fortescue\'s portfolio of decarbonisation projects in Europe, ultimately contributing to the company\'s real zero emissions ambition. As a Corporate Finance professional, I have proven myself to be a highly credible Valuation advisor and Decision Analysis professional, providing investment analyses and insights for New ventures, Development projects, M&A, and Operating assets. As Chartered Engineer, my greatest achievement was having designed, commissioned, and operated the first in the world offshore Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery pilot project, for which I was nominated for IChemE Young Chemical Engineer in Industry award (2016). I am also a classical music enthusiast, having played the piano professionally. Nowadays, I compose and arrange music on the side. I also enjoy travelling, Animal Flow, bouldering, and cooking.
