About Jeremy Reimenschneider

I am a Usability and Human Factors Engineer with experience developing novel medical products and implementing design changes to existing medical products. I have a strong knowledge of Usability Standards and Guidances (e.g. IEC 62366, FDA\'s Human Factors Guidance, and China NMPA\'s Human Factors Guidance) and governing standards and regulations in the medical device industry 21 CFR 820.30, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, ISO 60601, ISO 80601). I have developed expertise in Human Factors and Usability analysis (including identifying user needs, developing user requirements, conducting UFMEAs and conducting Use-Related Risk Analyses) and user research studies (including Formative and Summative Usability Studies) through work on multiple class I, II, and medical devices. I also have a strong technical background in Systems Engineering and Biomedical Engineering that improves my effectiveness as a Human Factors Engineer in a company operating under the constraints of Design Controls.I am currently furthering my education in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. In addition to receiving a concentration in Signal Processing during my undergraduate Bioengineering degree, I completing a graduate certificate in Artificial Intelligence Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and am pursuing a Master\'s Degree in Data Science from Georgia Tech. In these programs, I have worked on applications of these skills to classify cataracts and retinal abnormalities, detect cardiac arrhythmias, and predict psychiatric diagnoses.
