ABOUT JEREMY RAYL
I am a DVM/PhD graduate of the Veterinary Medical Scholars Program (VMSP) at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I completed my PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences - Comparative Biosciences in June 2018, focused on the immune response in captive and free range chelonians infected with ranavirus. I then matriculated with the DVM Class of 2021. I look forward to combining my research in wildlife epidemiology with veterinary clinical experience for the protection of public, domestic, and wildlife health, ecological conservation, and education. Currently, I am practicing clinical medicine, and I am open to seeing all species and doing my best by each patient.
