ABOUT JEREMY PIVNICK

Jeremy Pivnick has a diverse background in Lighting Design, accomplishing successful designs for architecture, theme parks, and live entertainment. Having both studied and worked in international environments, Jeremy has proven his ability to collaborate with a wide range of people of many different backgrounds and to learn from others’ experiences. In addition, as a WELL Building Standard Accredited Professional he has a broad knowledge of all aspects of wellness-based architecture, not only lighting design, and the ability to lead a project towards the best outcome for the project users.Personable and approachable, Jeremy brings with him a pure enjoyment of creating, a passion for what proper lighting can achieve, and the ability to approach a project with all seriousness, while still having a light-hearted attitude and a sense of fun. He strives to be inclusive, to accept guidance from those who know more, to mentor those who are seeking to learn, and to value everyone’s perspective, no matter from whom it comes. As light is inarguably one of the most important aspects of daily life, he also believes that good and healthy lighting should be applied in an equitable way, not just on luxury projects, and aims to pursue ways to make appropriate lighting achievable in projects of all scales for people of all types of communities. Jeremy uses his proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, AGi32, Relux, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino 3D, among other platforms to creatively and efficiently communicate design concepts, generate documentation, and complete thorough design packages that have been scrutinized for proper light levels, energy code compliance, sustainability, durability, and design intent.
