ABOUT JEREMY LOPEZ
Trained as a particle physicist but now applying my skills as a machine learning engineer at Kensho. I have over 10 years of experience in analyzing scientific data and now work in an engineering team developing production-ready tools and services for Kensho and S&P Global.Much of my current work focuses on the topic of speech recognition as part of the Kensho Scribe team. In Scribe, we take audio and produce structured transcripts, and my work involves a mix of engineering, machine learning, and data science. Previously, I\'ve also worked on a variety of other projects such as building new search engines for S&P\'s platforms and a bit on data extraction from documents. My day-to-day work is mostly done in python and I\'ve used a variety of data analysis tools such as pytorch, scikit-learn, pandas, and others. I\'ve also used a variety of engineering tools such as elasticsearch, redis, postgres, flask, and others when needed. My prior academic work was done largely in C++ with tools such as the ROOT analysis toolkit.Kensho is hiring! Check out our postings at
