ABOUT JEREMY LERMAN

Received my B.A. in 2007 from the University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Political Theory and American History. Went on to work in New Hampshire as a Field Organizer for former Secretary Hillary Clinton\'s 2008 presidential primary campaign, during which I was eventually promoted to the role of Regional Field Director in several states including Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. Subsequently served as Campaign Manager for a New Hampshire state senator\'s successful re-election bid. Following a brief stint in commercial real estate management and development, I explored my growing interest in think-tank research, joining the American Action Forum (AAF) to serve as Executive Research Assistant to AAF president and former Congressional Budget Office Director, Douglas Holtz-Eakin. In 2012, I set my sights on academia, earning an M.A. in Legal Institutions and Theory (LIT program) from the George Washington University and later pursuing a PhD in economics at George Mason University, where I was invited to study and work within the Mercatus Center\'s prestigious F.A. Hayek Fellowship program for the Advanced Study of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
