Responsible for the integration of 2nd row seating systems on multiple vehicle architectures to reduce unique point-based solutions and drive common repeatable solutions to recurring problems. • Lead weekly Integration Design Review meeting bringing together leaders within the Seat SMT, AVD and manufacturing groups to review and provide solutions to our most pressing issues within the seating space. • Regularly report out to Seat team Director on various projects and initiatives. • Extensive benchmarking of competitor vehicle content and execution to inform engineering decisions. • Work closely with the AVD team in the handoff of programs from their space to Seat Integration understanding the imperatives of the program, target customers, vehicle segment etc. • Responsible for the integration of new technology including the first ventilation system in a 2nd row CRS seat at GM. • Regularly use customer loss function data and JD Power information to make informed decisions about vehicle content and integration of that content into the seat system. • Completed GM’s DFSS Green & Black Belt training.
