Our team focuses on the experiences of Workday Professional Services consultants to provide them with solutions that will transform how they do business and allow them to provide a lasting impression while delivering consulting services to our customers. As the sole product manager for the Services Tools team, I am focused on connecting our development team with the use cases of the consultants within the professional services practice at Workday. Through the collection of anecdotal and statistical evidence I help the team to decide which tools and opportunities to focus on. Anecdotal evidence is gathered through workshops and interviews that I facilitate as well as through networking opportunities. Which is then matched up with statistical data gathered from internal data sources. A roadmap is then prepared based on the opportunities that provide the most significant value to our consultants and customers. In my role, I also assist the team with project/capacity planning, implementation of Scrum methodology, story writing, JIRA management and roll out of our tools/applications. I continue to monitor user adoption and health of all of our tools and apps through Workday\'s internal data sources and tools such as Jupyter Notebook, Splunk, NewRelic and Portainer. Our most recent projects include- SLNG - A NodeJS web based ETL tool we\'ve deployed through Docker that allows Workday professional services consultants to transform and load customer data into Workday tenants with the goal to improve data quality and gain deployment efficiencies - Financial Statement Generator - A tool to create financial statement reports for customers in minutes in their Workday tenants - Project Onboarding - a Workday Extend application that streamlines the consultant onboarding process in the Workday tenant and using Salesforce API\'s
