About Jeremy Houp

I can and have worn many hats. I am a Solution Architect/Tech Leader/Engineer/Database Administrator who when I worked for Shippensburg University helped build, transform and modernize the Infrastructure to support new datacenter, new lab facilities and complete new networking infrastructure to support Faculty Staff. I continued that work for the US Navy - NAVSEA assisting building out complete new application and database infrastructure to modernize a several large data warehouse projects, which helped build out new applications for NavAir, the Naval Fleet for Pacific and Atlantic. I was able to visit different locations to gain knowledge on processes used on the East and West coast. With my Security Clearance I worked on great projects for Federal and Naval engineers for mean time between failure analysis and planning.I was blessed again in my career to continue at Corning Incorporated on many different projects for 13 different businesses, Merger and Acquisitions, ITAR systems, on Critical Response Teams managing natural disasters, critical infrastructure outage, delivering critical updates to senior level management, managed service providers and vendors, aided in startup of 13 different manufacturing plants around the globe and finally 6 datacenter migrations in a span of 5 years.For Corning, I helped plant startup for Display Technologies in Taiwan in business that sold its first glass to Apple for the iPhone which started LCD business with additional plants in Taiwan, China and Japan. I was also on the project for bendable glass which are deployed on phones/tablets. Additionally, I helped the startup of 3 additional Fiber plants around the world in China, India and in North America. I was also privileged to be on the project for Valor glass which sold glass vials during COVID for vaccinations.I would like to continue my career and keep contributing to the success of businesses.
