In litigation, I represent clients in complicated, high stakes matters in state and federal courts and in administrative courts. The majority of my practice is devoted to business, commercial, and construction litigation, government and internal investigations, and trust and estate litigation. I maintain a smaller domestic practice when business or professional valuations, significant separate and marital assets, and/or protecting trusts are at issue. I have tried a number of jury and bench trials to verdict and have prepared briefs for and presented oral argument to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court, and the Tennessee Court of Appeals on many occasions. In my general business representation, I represent small and mid-sized businesses in formation, day-to-day operations, transactions, and conflict prevention and resolution.
