Reporting directly to the Segment Sourcing Director, the Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive category sourcing strategy. This also includes the execution of sourcing projects to ensure that the Segment’s Strategic Sourcing objectives are met. • The Mechanical Category consists of mainly Machining, Castings and Fabrication commodities, and possesses a Portfolio spend of more than $190MM annually. The Mechanical Category Manager is a key stakeholder in applicable ITW Components Category teams, and is responsible for supporting the applicable Segment and Divisional Sourcing leaders in the development and execution of Segment Specific category strategies and sourcing projects.• The Mechanical Category Manager identifies and executes Strategic Sourcing Initiatives that leverage purchasing scale and enhance profitability and global competitiveness, through the development and implementation of Category Strategies and Sourcing plans, driving economic value, and fostering business growth
