Cost, schedule and performance management of mission-critical, lifesaving medical acquisition projects/programs within the USSOCOM Portfolio which provides cutting edge medical capability to all subordinate commands within the Special Operations Community.•Regularly advise the USSOCOM Surgeon General on the status of developmental efforts and high priority medical initiatives.•Provide acquisition guidance and support to surgeons, physicians, medics, and ancillary personnel to ensure capability gaps are identified and fulfilled in support of increasing Warfighter survivability on the battlefield. •Oversee delivery of training courses and demonstrations to end-users/medical providers.•Work alongside the USSOCOM Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate to support development and fielding of new and novel technologies.•Work with stakeholders, both government and commercial, to achieve USSOCOM programmatic objectives and mission success.•Attend industry conferences, seminars, and tradeshows to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and practices.
