Empower the team through impact understanding and positive team dynamics.In a previous role as National Buyer for Best Buy Canada\'s Smart Home category, I built go-to-market strategies, with buy-in from Senior Leadership; Established longstanding strategic vendor partnerships with key brands and startups; Collaborated with Merchandising, Logistics, Marketing, eCommerce, Operations, Finance, Legal and administrative teams to launch, build and sustain a wide range of new brands and products; Have owned P&L responsibility within one of the most dynamic categories. Key stakeholder in critical projects and process’ creation, including Best Buy Marketplace, Vendor Direct Fulfillment, Product Protection Standards & Replenishment, Digital Marketing pilots, Auto-Price Reaction tools, Regional Hydro Rebate Programs, and more.Within my last role of Senior Category Leader of Health & Fitness and Electify, I worked to establish Best Buy Canada in a meaningful way within these exciting markets, with an emphasis on how technology unlocks a much higher potential for well-being and results, as everything within these categories becomes connected. with a lot of help from my team and our engaged supporting groups that make amazing happen at Best Buy Canada.Now I’m tasked with helping to bolster and grow our Wireless Carrier and Unlocked Smartphone categories, to help Canadians get affordable rates and the latest smartphone, while making Best Buy the best place to buy a smartphone in Canada.
