About Jeremy Caracci
Jeremy is a high school educator and teaches Advanced Placement Psychology at Valley High School, in West Des Moines, Iowa. He has also previously taught Introductory Psychology, United States History and Government courses. Jeremy also works in the Success Center at Valley helping students stay on track of work, set and meet goals, and challenge themselves to succeed in school. Jeremy is a boys and girls varsity assistant Cross-Country coach and a varsity assistant coach for the boys Track team. Valley High School is one of the largest secondary schools in the state of Iowa. Jeremy is part of a distinguished staff which was recently rated 2nd in the AP index of all schools in Iowa. Jeremy graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa in 2018. He majored in Social Sciences with a focus on Psychology, Sociology, Political Science and World History. Jeremy completed additional coursework at DMACC and other community colleges during his first year of teaching to obtain further educational endorsements. Jeremy obtained his Master’s degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado in 2020. Each summer, Jeremy is part of a distinguished group that grades the AP Psychology assessment.
