ABOUT JEREMY BLUMENFELD

I am co-chair of the ERISA Litigation Practice and a partner in the New York and Philadelphia offices of Morgan Lewis. My practice covers the full range of employee benefit defense litigation matters, including numerous ERISA class actions challenging plan investments, plan design, and alleging misrepresentations. I have particular expertise in defending class action claims challenging investments in the administration of 401(k) savings plans, ESOPs and defined benefits plans, as well as cash balance plan design, disclosure and “whipsaw” claims. I also defend clients in single plaintiff ERISA cases and advise on litigation avoidance and risk mitigation in connection with employee benefit matters.I am nationally ranked in Chambers & Partners, was named one of five rising star class action attorneys in the country, Law36•••11) and the top tier of the Legal 500 for ERISA Litigation (2011)
