ABOUT JEREMI WÓJCICKI

My work and passion revolve around innovation and novel technologies. I strive to foster the digital revolution — for which AI is a critical driver.I hold a PhD from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy’s leading technical university, where I focused on modelling and optimisation to improve the energy efficiency and productivity of modern factories through machine learning, cyber-physical systems, and edge computing. After more than seven years in applied research, I transitioned into the startup world to make a more tangible real-world impact. I co-founded Pixelent, a company developing advanced stereoscopic vision systems for remotely operated machines and vehicles, and later worked as a freelance consultant on intelligent machinery, energy consumption forecasting, and computer vision.Today, I serve as CTO at ModelCat (formerly Eta Compute), a company redefining how AI is designed and deployed at the edge. ModelCat’s mission is to accelerate the creation of efficient, deployable AI models that bridge the gap between research and real-world implementation. I lead the company’s technological vision — guiding the development of resource-efficient architectures, hardware-aware neural networks, and tools that make advanced AI accessible to engineers and product teams worldwide. My focus lies in uniting cutting-edge innovation with practical, scalable impact — transforming complex technology into something both elegant and useful.In my free time, I love to dive into adrenaline-filled activities and explore remote, wild places. I’ve climbed twelve Alpine peaks in recent years and am working toward my goal of reaching thirty!
