Designed improved components and feature templates for Agoda Design System UI Kit 2.0 library, used by 50+ active designers and over 1,500 engineers- Documented new design guidelines (anatomy, tokens, interactions, examples, RTL, theme, spacing, sizing) and Figma props for components. Improving designer-engineer workflow 10x better- Advocated and collaborated with cross-functional design teams (through design reviews, workshops, app and web refresh projects) to drive the new design system adoption rate from 0.8% to 6.5%- Developed strategy for shared UI patterns to drive efficiency and increase design alignment within Agoda platforms and 8 product design teams.
ABOUT JEREMIAH RIGHTEOUS
I am Jerry, an experienced Product Designer with 5+ years of designing usable, inclusive and lovely human-centred digital products at scale through innovative, strategic and data-driven designs. I have led teams, designed end-to-end solutions and collaborated with designers, engineers, product managers and marketing teams to iteratively build digital products across retail, fintech, payment, travel, logistics and e-commerce industries that are used by over 4 million people daily and have resulted in positive business impact. My strengths are in visual design (UI), interaction design, prototyping, design systems, product strategy, and problem-solving aspects of the UX process. I’ve worked with diverse teams globally - hybrid, remote or onsite, from startups and scale-ups to large companies. Beyond my regular work, I love teaching through speaking engagements, workshops and mentorships (mainly to help early-career designers grow and thrive in their journey). I have done this at Friends of Figma and currently at ADPList. I am fascinated by human behaviour - how they learn, think and act. I also value the art of storytelling, intentionality, and honest feedback. In my downtime, I enjoy taking a walk, absorbing consumer content, eating spicy food, and travelling while exploring my other interests ranging from angel investing to emerging technologies.
