About Jeremiah E. Baldwin
Jeremiah E. Baldwin is a native Texan who hails from Corpus Christi. Today, Baldwin is participating in The University of Texas School of Law Pipeline Program to achieve his professional goal of becoming a civil rights attorney. He is also currently fulfilling his mission of \"Lift As I Climb\" by leading The Mister & Miss Juneteenth Corpus Christi Leadership Program and teaching Social Studies and Science to fourth-grade students at a Title I elementary school in his hometown. In 2025, Baldwin was the Office Manager & Board Liaison for Global Black Gay Men Connect, an international human rights nonprofit. In 2024, he served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff in the historic Office of U.S. Senator Laphonza Butler (D-CA). Senator Butler was the third Black woman to serve in the United States Senate and the sole Black woman in the upper chamber during her tenure. Baldwin is an alumnus of the prestigious Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Internship Program, where he was selected as the sole intern to the Congressional Black Caucus — the nation’s oldest and largest legislative body dedicated to advancing the global Black agenda.Prior to that, he served as a Press Intern for the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform, where he honed his skills in political communications, media strategy, and congressional messaging.Baldwin is a Dean’s Distinguished Graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he triple majored in Government, Rhetoric and Writing, and African and African Diaspora Studies, and earned a minor in Educational Psychology and a certificate in LGBTQ+ Studies. He is also a proud brother of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.
