My team and I collaborate with faculty to study pedagogy and learning, design research-practice partnerships, and lead grant-funded research initiatives. I also serve as Associate Director of Duke\'s interdisciplinary, living laboratory for design-based research at the intersection of education, technology, and society. Before joining Duke, I was Program Leader and a tenured Associate Professor of Learning, Design, and Technology at the University of Colorado Denver School of Education and Human Development. My research has been supported through multiple grant-funded positions and projects, including as Scholar in Residence with Hypothesis, OER Research Fellow with the Open Education Group, and as a National Science Foundation Data Consortium Fellow. As a consultant, I facilitate human-centered design processes to support the professional learning and technology needs of multi-stakeholder teams.
