Incident, event and service triage- Responsible to configure, deploy, install, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain the agency\'s switching and routing infrastructure devices and software- Reviews switch, router, and other device logs to ensure industry best practices and Agency standards are maintained throughout the data network- Assists in administration of various communication systems and equipment. Supports MacOS software and devices - Using logs and management tools, identifies, and reports to management any troubles, unusual traffic patterns, software misconfigurations, unsafe security practices, and/or suspected abuse or misuse of computer or network resources and maintain record of said logs- Under limited supervision monitor network resources to ensure detected problems are quickly corrected. Use system software to determine network status. Configure and upgrade network management software on Network Operation Center servers- Coordinates with third party service providers for orders of new service, trouble reporting and resolution of troubles and outages to include data/voice/power. Ensures consistent and timely updates to manager and others during outages- Assists with VPN user setup, configurations, and trouble resolution. Coordinates third party service providers as necessary- A point of contact for all cell phone and agency-issued handheld device activation/service changes/deactivations. Responsible for troubleshooting all reported troubles on these devices. Coordinates with third party service providers as necessary- Assist in the design, implementation, and management of Agency LAN/WAN/Telephony network construction - Maintains accurate, detailed documentation of network architecture; network device configurations; and trouble incidents and resolutions - Assist in the support of the Agency network security systems to include configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance- Other duties as required.
