About Jeremiah Douchee
I\'m JD! I am a homegrown southsider passionate about race, medicine, and addressing health disparities. In 2017, I received a BA in African and African American Studies – a major that offered me space to uncover the integral roles of Black Americans in the development of medicine. Since then, I have worked in various healthcare systems in the Chicagoland area as non-clinical support, an EMT, and now as an emergency medicine resident.Ultimately, I aim to become a healthcare provider who makes medicine and my peers more accessible to the communities that I am a part of.
