ABOUT JEREME NOLLETT
I don’t wanna grow up! Truth be told there are aspects in life that I haven’t had to “grow up.” My passion for building things began when I was young. Like many engineers, it started with Duplo, Legos, Constructs, K’nex, and Erectors sets. Add in the joy of taking things apart just to see how they work, a thorough enjoyment for math and science, a need for organization, and a desire to come up with and create new innovative ideas to make things more efficient, and you get me. It is my belief that it is our duty as humans in an evolved society to make a conscious effort to reduce the negative impact we have on our environment, and find a way to create an inspiring positive impact on the buildings’ occupants. I believe we can make this world a better place for generations to come.My formal education at Kansas State University taught me the basics of what it is to become an engineer. My career has evolved from that training to what it is now: a passion for sustainability, new technology, and a positive impact on occupants.The science of Engineering has spilled over into my personal life. I like to spend my free time tinkering with my fantasy football spreadsheets, brewing beer (note: this is a dangerous hobby for those whose careers involve automated systems), and renovating my house. Of course, that is if I am not busy with my wife, sons and dogs or cheering on the Chiefs and Royals.
