About Jeramie Crabtree

There are two things that have driven me in my life: providing for my not so little family and helping people. When I found that I could combine both of those as a career, I was ecstatic. In fact, I enjoy what I do so much that it doesn\'t even feel like work! I love talking with others, getting to know them, understanding their challenges, and helping them find solutions. The irony is that I used to be terrified of interacting with others. I was so painfully shy, it wasn\'t funny. I also didn\'t have a clue what I would do when I \"grew up.\" Little did I know that I would end up making a career doing what used to cripple me with fear! It’s been a long and winding path to get where I’m at today. I have gone from being a life insurance salesperson, a locums tenens recruiter, a military contract recruiter for docs and nurses, and finally cyber security business development. Security quickly became another passion, along with helping others understand the risks that confront their organization. I also love discovering new tech, learning the intricacies of the infosec world, and new approaches to protecting organizations from ever-evolving cyber-attacks. Cybersecurity has turned into the “boogie man” and it’s great when I get to sit down and de-mystify cyber protection for folks. I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing different perspectives.
