About Jen Wang

My career has centered on making sense of complex systems—from quantum mechanics in biophysical chemistry to data science across marketing, ads, and product strategy. I build systems and products through analytics, machine learning, and structured thinking, driven by a deep curiosity about why real-world behavior so often diverges from what models predict. Over time, I realized that this divergence is where human judgment, uncertainty, and meaning emerge. This led me to explore how people navigate ambiguity and make decisions in complex, fast-changing environments.As AI increasingly commoditizes execution, I share reflections and mental models on how our decision-making is evolving, why the bottleneck is shifting toward rigorous judgment, and how the next generation of talent can navigate this new era of work.I also curate long-term frameworks on clarity, judgment, and complexity on a dedicated page: opinions are my own and do not represent my employer.
