As a technology facilitator, I help my colleagues learn how to use technology to better their work experience. I train them in a formal setting, but what is more often needed is just-in-time training that I provide at a moment\'s notice.• Throughout my tenure, I utilize needs analysis results to design and develop custom microlearning solutions that break down complex concepts and assess learner performance resulting in over 80% success rate. • The ADDIE model helps when designing, developing, and facilitating instructor-led training or eLearning to 60 adult learners on multiple technologies. I design and develop scenario-based training in Articulate Storyline and Rise for adult learners to mimic real world situations. • During the COVID shutdown, I trained 46 educators to convert instructor-led training (ILT) to virtual instructor-led training (vILT) and eLearning while creatively engaging learners virtually and followed up to identify and implement additional training needs. • I manage multiple ongoing projects working with subject matter experts, following timelines and reporting progress to stakeholders weekly.

I have always enjoyed learning new things and educating others. Whether it is walking them through how to do something on the computer, creating microlearning, or designing and developing full courses in Articulate Storyline or Rise, educating others is at my core. Being an instructional designer gives me the opportunity to serve adults by creating engaging training through scenario-based learning and interactions. When I design learning, I start with the end in mind. What does the learner need to learn? What business goals need to be accomplished through the learning? What change in behavior needs to happen? What would be the best modality to teach these concepts? These are driving questions that help me develop learning objectives that will steer the course as I design and develop the content. My subject matter expert (SME) is my go-to partner that has the answers. We work hand in hand to develop the most appropriate learning for the business situation. I design and develop the learning and the SME checks it for accuracy. I value our partnership and collaboration.
