As a Crew Member at Trader Joe’s, I create a warm and friendly shopping experience by welcoming customers, sharing product stories, and walking customers to the items they’re looking for. I understand the value Trader Joe’s products offer and am dedicated to making grocery shopping fun. My role involves engaging customers in a warm and friendly way, learning about our products to share what’s special about them, answering customer questions, and helping them find what they need. I provide suggestions for meals and get-togethers, handle products with care at the cash register, and assist customers to their cars when needed. Being genuine, myself, and nice is at the heart of what I do.In terms of team experience, I strive to be friendly, courteous, and respectful of my fellow Crew Members. I work with a sense of urgency, am self-motivated, and always seek out new assignments and duties. I am proactive in discovering new ways to improve processes and ensure I arrive to work on time, ready to work, and dressed in a clean Trader Joe’s t-shirt. Safety is always top of mind as I perform my tasks, and I maintain availability that meets the store\'s needs and supports the team.I also focus on making the store beautiful and maintaining it as a place where I would want to shop. I care for products, ensuring we are ready for customers by receiving, unloading, and verifying deliveries, stocking shelves, rotating products, and recording donations and returns. I make the store fun with creative, eye-catching, and informative merchandise displays and signs, and keep the store shining with clean floors, bathrooms, and break rooms. Additionally, I collect shopping carts and maintain the parking lot to make the store easy to shop. I am always ready to help with other tasks and additional duties as assigned.
