ABOUT JENS OPPERMANN

As a Learning & Development professional with more than a decade of experience I’m responsible for the design of innovative training strategies. Purpose of my work is to sustainably strengthen the performance of employees through innovative qualification programs that are - employee / „learner“ / human centered - aligned with company goals - based on real data and current research - designed with the help of (new) methods (e.g. 5Di, Design Thinking)- fit in the flow of work - accessible in the moment of need - proven to lead to better performance My passion? Helping people do their jobs better, improve their performance and make companies even more successful. I love witnessing light-bulb moments, capturing the moment when something is not only learned or understood, but when someone is able to do the right thing in the right way. I´m more than happy to have left over the last years the path of pure knowledge transfer and have been focusing now on what people really need to improve. This is my little personal story of „unlearning and relearning“, a wonderful concept to be and to stay agile and adaptable. I had the opportunity to work in the area of Learning & Development for large companies such as Commerzbank, CUPRA, Deutsche Bank, Hugo Boss, Mercedes Benz, SEAT, Telekom, Vodafone or Volkswagen. Besides these brands and lots of other projects I also worked for The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (Ort der Information, Berlin, Germany). To be part of this team that documents the crimes of the Nazi has been the most moving and meaningful one until now. I am looking forward to exciting discussions, suggestions and exchange about new approaches, new ideas and innovation in corporate training / Learning & Development.
