Jenni Riehle is the director of the Public Information and Communication Office for the Michigan Department of Corrections where she oversees communications and media relations for Michigan\'s 26 state prisons that employ over staff. Prior to coming to MDOC, she worked in strategic communications for the State Budget Office of Michigan and also in outreach for DTMB Procurement where she taught businesses how to win state contracts. She earned a BA from Michigan State University in Communications at which time she also had a fellowship with the Michigan Policy Network and spent time in Washington D.C. working for the Center for American Progress. She has also held board positions with Junior Chamber International (JCI) and New World Flood.
