As the Regional Director Utah & Idaho, FIRST® Robotics Competition, my mission is to spark innovation, resilience, and a lifelong love of STEM in tomorrow’s changemakers! I proudly lead efforts to make robotics accessible and exhilarating for high schoolers🤖 from launching new teams and supporting veteran powerhouses🤖 to assembling dream-team volunteers 🤖 and masterminding unforgettable regional competitions,🤖 all while keeping our budget laser-focused.My day-to-day work is never the same and never boring! I build bridges with colleges, sponsors, and industry partners Personally connect with coaches and mentors— And my favorite part, I visit teams in their workspaces and let them brag on all the amazing things they are working on.Most importantly, I help build the future workforce of Utah and Idaho.🪄 88% of Utah seniors in the program plan to major in STEM fields.🪄 92% plan to attend college or trade school.🪄 82% say participation shaped their future plans.🪄 Participants are 2x more likely than peers to hold positive attitudes toward STEM.🪄 Girls in the program are 3.5x more likely to take engineering and 2.5x more likely to take computer science than peers.Want to support FIRST® Robotics Competition in Utah and/or Idaho?
