Responsible for leading, establishing and implementing the format strategy & vision to ensure that each store format is maximized in terms of range, space, offers, layout, customer experiences and designs- Designed, developed and executed a new convenience retail store design that enables double digit growth within the first year of in role- Reduced equipment costs by 20% with the new design while increasing selling space by 40% in the newest store design- Implementing innovation of new product lines and launches through space planning processes at micro and macro levels- Lead pipeline of continuous shop format upgrade project focuses on changing customer needs, adding new offers, and using existing space for better & bigger category allocation- Work with equipment suppliers to bring design vision to life that ensures consideration of current and future needs- Development of space planning to maximize micro and macro space by overseeing planogram development and layout optimization- Development of merchandising standard of excellence guide to 550+ retail locations- Manage and oversee new asset and equipment selection for full network to ensure feasibility to design and customer needs- Provide guidance to construction and engineering teams on retail store requirements for customer missions- Leverage data and using perspective as a retail consumer to understand feasible and approachable methods for decision making- Lead a team of space planners, project implementer, merchandisers, and interior designers to work cohesively to be able to design, plan and execute projects within a time frame as low as 6 weeks to meet demands for new programs and offers
