I set up my first practice in Botswana back in 1988, with three children, the youngest being just weeks old. An exciting time, great fun and when I had to think outside of the box to find creative ways of treating patients. Although it made me realise how much I missed working with a team, personally and because a multi-disciplinary approach is essential for the best patient outcome. So, it won\'t surprise you to hear that Sarum Physio was set up in partnership back in 1994. The doors opened on a snowy day with my much-missed business partner, two physios and one dream to provide a top to toe service, which it now does.Today the practice has eight physiotherapists—each with a specialist area of clinical expertise and who provide a joined-up approach to treatment. While I still practice physiotherapy at the Centre, I am also the driving force behind the team and business development. In a volunteer capacity, my particular interest is working with Help For Heroes, which I find inspiring, and I have taken part in seven cycling challenges to raise valuable funds for this charity.
