Design consultancy work across a variety of built environment and visual communication disciplines, including: urban design, public space research, placemaking, graphic design, illustration and photography. For example, working with clients to integrate data-driven, observational and user experience insights about the city to drive positive change, designing and visualising future design options for public spaces, or graphic design and documentary photography to communicate project outputs. Commissions tend to build on my experience in either leading urban design and creative teams, or to provide additional creative design support on projects - such as visually documenting and communicating project impact, providing illustrations, infographics or other graphic design input. Recent freelance projects include creative placemaking project evaluation and graphic design work for The Stove Network, technical street illustrations and user-experience focussed photography and film for Living Streets, data synthesis and infographic design for the V&A Dundee, and an award-winning role leading and delivering Urban Design and Community Engagement as part of the Edinburgh Living Lab\'s \'Service Design and Our Property Assets\' project for client City of Edinburgh Council, for which my freelance work won the Landscape Institute\'s Excellence in Community Engagement Design award 2020.
